One hundred organizations, companies and individuals who have influenced small businesses in North America will be honored at the 2012 Small Business Influencer Awards Gala. The awards, held in conjunction with the New York Business Expo and Conference, will take place on October 17, 2012 at New York’s Javits Convention Center.
“The Award recognizes those organizations and individuals who play crucial roles within small businesses, but are often in the background,” said Anita Campbell, CEO of Small Business Trends and co-founder of the awards. “With small businesses being such an important part of our business ecosystem, it’s wonderful see so many individuals and different types of organizations working with the small business market.”
The Small Business Influencer Awards recognizes the influence of the honorees’ products, services, knowledge and support on the small business market. It is co-produced by Small Business Trends and SmallBizTechnology.com. Title sponsors, organizational partners and other sponsors include BlackBerry, Infusionsoft, Sage, GetResponse, Vocus, Manta, Day2DayPrinting.com and PRNewswire.
Several of this year’s honorees will present at the NY Expo, as well as sit on the panel for the seminar, “How I Did It: Lessons from America’s Best-Run Companies.” The gala will feature a keynote address by Larry Janesky, founder and president of Basement Systems and author of “The Highest Calling.”
